Back to School!!!

Man what a crazy year so far, am I right? Brand New Day is crazy good IMO, comics are on the rise yet again, card sales are going strong thanks to Marvel and Hobbit releases. We have moved our shop around a bit to add tables for gaming and lets admit it reading and playing with LEGO Bricks. We are slowly moving away from action figures and Toys and warhammer. So look for special prices on those items. School has started back up for I believe everyone. My youngest started pre-K last week. My oldest 2 boys have had kids of their own with one turning 1!! My next youngest is still finding his way. It will happen i have faith in him and hopes that he excells in life. My daughters have each grown in their own ways and it's wonderful to see them doing good. With my oldest in collage and my youngest taking some time to work and think about if she wants to go into a field or not. Got to let them grow right? We as a family are going to Disneyworld in just under 2 weeks. And my youngest is now big enough to ride on some of the rides without putting a snickers in his shoe to get him the extra inch he needs to be. I am looking forward to the character interactions and getting Lorcana Cards signed by the characters. I Like Disneyland better for Avengers Campus but you know what at the end of the day its all about the memories and seeing the kids and my wife smile and enjoy life. We now have an intern of sorts, the kid likes our store and wanted to learn about the comic business and card aspect of the industry so for school he is joining us. Nic is an amazing worker and I feel we are better because of her. And Heather is by far a Great Manager and goes above to always provide freebies for every order we do. I guess with all this rambling we are offering a 10% store wide sale for everyone for the month of September. Shipping is still stupid high but when you hit $100 we like to give you a break and ship at our costs. Don't forget that repeat customers get 12% off every order so that means if you order more then once with us the sale for the month increases to 22%. That adds up fast and can be used to get more stuff for those kids for school. Well anyway, have an amazing month! go enjoy some comic books and spread the word!

Oh and Batman Day is also this month so look for those books to hit the store site before long.
